DIY Filter Workshops with Beijing Energy Network

For those in Beijing, I’ve teamed up with the Beijing Energy Network to host workshops where people can make their own air purifier. The first one sold out before I could post it on Particle Counting, so I’m making sure to post this one here early.

I’ll do a short presentation on particulate pollution and how filters work. After that, l’ll do a live demonstration with a particle counter, and then I’ll demonstrate how to make your own. Participants will go home with their very own air purifier.

Cost: 200 RMB (to cover materials; pay at the door)

Location: Near Chongwenmen metro. Exact location sent to those who RSVP.

Workshop 1: Sunday, August 18, 4:00-5:30pm. Sign up here.

Workshop 2: Monday, August 19, 7:00-8:30pm. Sign up here

(Update, 6pm, Thursday: All sessions are now fully booked. I have started a waiting list.)
